Next Horizon Academy
At Next Horizon Academy, we offer a nurturing and engaging experience that focuses on developing essential skills in fine motor, gross motor, creativity, social interaction, and communication.
Our curriculum incorporates hands-on learning, book reading, gardening, cooking, and play-based exploration for our youngest learners, with math and English tutoring for grades 6 through 12.
Weekly Schedule
Our Classes & Pricing
Choose from our weekly enrichment classes and tutoring for TK through 12th grade. Prices are per month or per hour, as shown.
Monday
Social-Emotional Class
Kids learn to identify feelings, practice sharing, make friends, and use simple calming strategies. Fun, age appropriate, and play based.
Math Tutoring
Algebra 1/2 and Integrated Math 1/2 with step-by-step guidance, practice problems, and test preparation support.
Tuesday
Literacy & Reading Skills
Phonics, letter and sound recognition, sight words, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and age-appropriate writing practice through games, stories, and short activities.
English
English 1/2 (identity and relationship), English 3/4, and Advanced English 3/4.
Wednesday
Gardening Class
A hands-on garden class where children learn planting, plant care, and nature exploration.
Geometry & Trigonometry
Geometry 1/2 and Trigonometry 1/2.
Thursday
AP English
AP American Literature 1/2, AP Reading & Composition, and World Literature / Expository Reading and Writing 1/2.
Friday
Cooking Class
Children explore cooking through simple recipes while developing social, math, science, language, and fine motor skills.
